Appearance: No one would particularly notice Sera if she walked down the street, she is quite average with a height of 5’6 and slim build. Her dark hair falls below her shoulders although is almost always up in a ponytail, this contrasts with her alabaster complexion which, no matter how long she spends in the sun, doesn’t tan or burn or anything.
For the sake of practicality she prefers casual clothes, usually jeans and jumpers. While working, depending on the job, she tends to wear black or blue BDUs with all the gadgets and supplies she needs tucked and hidden away inside them.
Personality: Sera is a very compassionate woman who feels very deeply about the work she is involved in. She is very straight forward and keenly efficient. She prefers using her time to aid others rather than for her own selfish endeavours.
History: Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama Sera was the seventh of ten children. Despite the largeness of the family, Seraphina’s mother never failed in passing on patience and compassion to her children. Never once did she hear her parents raise their voices in anger and they counselled their children to talk through their problems.
It was an idyllic childhood in many ways. Summers were hot and winters were mild, there were miles upon miles of picturesque country to explore. It was this opportunity to explore that gifted the girl with her purpose in life. When she was ten, she roamed her favourite area of the woods which was dense and contained a small waterfall. It was here she befriended a family of nymphs, over the years she gained their trust and they welcomed her in.
As a teenager Sera could think of nothing else than the mythological. Eventually she went to the University of Southern California to study Ancient History but after her first year she dropped out, finding the programme to rigid. To expand her horizons, she travelled to England in her early twenties to take advantage of its deep rooted history and complex mythologies. During this time she took any job she could from admin to sweeping floors. It was while on this journey of discovery she stumbled upon the Guardians, quite by accident. Three years later she is a dedicated part of their time, even more so during the turbulent times of the war.
