General Appearance: Believed to be creatures of the dead, vampires appear as human. They are very pale and the edges of their iris glow red. Their canines are elongated and extremely sharp; possessing venom which can ‘turn’ victims to one of them, though this is not always the case, sometimes in merely paralyse a victim so the vampire can drain it of blood. This is how a vampire lives, by the drinking of blood.

Characteristics: There are two types of vampires; those who are born and those who are turned. Born vampires are few and far between, hunted almost to extinction in the early days of the war. These vampires possess the highly common view that humanity is merely cattle to be herded and that they are the greater species. The views of ‘turned’ vampires or ‘half breeds’ as the born vampires refer to them as, vary from vampire to vampire, some still cling to their memories of human life, while others have embraced this new powerful form.

Strengths: Superhuman speed, hyper senses and high intelligence make them the perfect hunter and a formidable enemy. They regenerate quickly and only turned vampires bare scars.

Weaknesses: Sunlight is a vampires greatest weakness, burning their skin the instant the UV rays touch it. They are also allergic to silver, though this will only kill if it comes in direct contact with their heart. Holy water and crosses DO NOT affect a vampire.
